Happy 'way' late birthday to Austin. He turned 7 June 21. We sent Nate off to Alaska a few day before his birthday but my brother Golden and his family came down to celebrate with us. It happened to land on Father's Day so we got to celebrate both this year. I can hardly believe that my baby boy is 7. He is getting so big. He says the funniest things and he is starting to get funny jokes. He is still cuddly with me and he promises to never stop cuddling. I am totally ok with that. He is a great brother to Luke and Alyssa. He is also a great example of being good to those around him. He is super smart, very kind, completely cute and a great son. I love you, Austin.
Baseball. He loved learning how to hit over the heads of the infielders. He was the cutest shortstop out there.
His first season as a basketball player. He loved basketball. Too bad the jersey was bigger than he was.
Austin loves soccer. He has played about 5 seasons now and is quite good. He scored 4 goals at his last in-door soccer game.
Austin is the best oldest brother. He takes care of his younger siblings really well. He has been quite fond of Alyssa since she came home from the hospital. He plays with her every morning while I get a chance to come to my senses and get out of bed. Alyssa gets so excited when she sees Austin.
Austin is a fish in the summer. He learned to swim at the age of 4 and has loved the freedom since. Of course he has to have his goggles, a total Anderson thing. :) He hates to swim without them because he loves to explore under the water. And not to mention the great Indian tan he gets in the summer. Makes for one handsome little guy.
Austin and Luke are really close to eachother. I think it is the 3 year gap between them. This is the only time I got away with spiking Austin's hair. I took the photo and once he saw the picture he ran into the bathroom to put it down. He is quite particular about his hair. He calls Luke's spikey hair, dinosaur hair.
First of many times to Disneyland-the happiest place on earth. My kids love going. Thanks grandpa Anderson for always taking the family to Disneyland. This trip was just after Luke was born and in the hospital. We managed to get away for a day to have a bit of fun.
Austin is alway finding little hiding places or tiny hideouts to hang out in. I found him like this at the cabin one time. Too funny. He was sitting in a cooler with stuffed animals.
Austin's love of bugs has started at an early age. Since Nate took him on a scorpion treatment around the age of 3 for a friend, he has loved discovering bugs of all kinds. I usually have him get any that I find in our house-which is rare since Nate owns a pest control company. :)
Best Brothers. Austin and Luke.
Happy 5th birthday at Peter Piper Pizza just before daddy left for Alaska.
First stitches. I hope not too many more to come. Grandpa Anderson fixed him all up, what a great grandpa.
We always find Austin with a ball in his hand. He wouldn't hold still for a picture so we got him a ball and he was so happy that we got a few cute 'shots' of him.
Even playing hoops in his halloween bug costume just before going out to trick-or-treat.
It starts at an early age, I found out and they are born with it, it is not a learned behavior. :)
4 generations of Belmont Anderson. What a great looking bunch of them too. :)
Always playing ball. Austin just turned 1 and already knew how to dunk a basketball.
