Visiting Grandad

We had a great time up in Idaho Falls visiting my dad, brothers and friends. Dad decided that it would be a great idea to head to Black Tail Lake about 20 miles from Idaho Falls, for an afternoon. The kids had a blast. We took my nephew Brayton with us and some of dad's friends.

Alyssa isn't liking the grass too much! She tried crawling away from it but it didn't go away. :)

Grandad wanted the boys to get in the water for a water fight. Don't mess with Grandad. He always seems to win. :)

Here is my dad convincing Luke that the water really was ok. He is such a great grandad. He was so kind and helpful with the kids. He did this all on his own. He played for quite a while in his clothes, in the lake, with the boys. They had a blast. What a great Grandad.

Grandad decided that it was time for Alyssa to get a little wet, so he walked her to the lake and played with her. She was having a great time splashin in the water. My dad really loves little children, so he played and played with them. He was so tender with Alyssa and she loved every minute of being wet.

My dad has the best yard. He keeps it more beautiful than any yard I have ever seen. The kids ran and ran all weekend in his huge yard. We are lacking in yard space here in Vegas, so it was nice for them to enjoy my dad's yard in Idaho Falls. His house is also so spacious and beautiful.

Alyssa loved being outside. The weather was just perfect for picture taking and she was so good. We had a great time in Idaho visiting my dad and brothers.
